Overview
What an organization is and how to switch between organizations.
An organization is the account your team, subscriptions, and tool access belong to in Caident. Everything you do in Caident, from your team members to your submittal templates, custom datasheets, and licenses, belongs to an organization.
Joining another organization
If someone invites you to their organization, you'll receive an email with a link. Opening that link and signing in (or creating an account, if you don't have one yet) automatically adds that organization to your account alongside any you already belong to.
Your active organization
If you belong to more than one organization, only one is active at a time. This is the organization whose data (team, submittals, licenses, and so on) you see as you use Caident.
To see your active organization or switch to a different one:
- Select your account menu in the top-right corner.
- Your current organization is shown under Organization.
- If you belong to more than one, they're listed under Switch organization. Select one to make it active.
