Templates
How to save your file selection as a reusable template, and load it back in later.
Templates save the set of files in a submittal package so you can reuse it later, without searching and adding everything again.
Save a template
- On the Submittal Generator page, add at least one file to your package.
- Select Save template, then choose Save as new template.
- Enter a Name for the template. Description is optional.
- Select Save Template.
Once saved, the builder shows Loaded Template: with the template's name above your selected files.
Update a saved template
If you've loaded or just saved a template, the Save template menu also offers Update current template. Selecting it opens the same dialog, pre-filled with the template's name and description, and lets you save your current file selection over it. Select Update Template to confirm.
Load a template
- Go to Submittal Templates (in the sidebar, under Materials Submittals).
- Select Use template next to the one you want.
Loading a template replaces your current file selection in the builder with the template's saved files.
Manage your templates
The Submittal Templates page lists every saved template with its name, description, files, and last updated date. From here you can:
- Select Use template to load it into the builder.
- Select Delete to remove it permanently.
