File Formats
A CaidentCalc project is one compact binary .ccalc file: the water supply, nodes, segments, calculation areas, cover-sheet content, custom pipes, and the project's pipe-table choice. Values you typed are stored exactly as typed (5'2.4" round-trips untouched).
- Backward compatible — projects from earlier versions (including v1 files) always open.
- Registered to the app at install, so
.ccalc files open with a double-click or a drag onto the window.
- Results are re-derived by running the calculation; prefer re-running over trusting stale numbers (the out-of-sync banner enforces this).
